Uniquely You
Today I am writing to remind you that you are unique.
You were born with your own set of complex DNA, ladder-like molecules twisting and turning to define your eye colour, your skin tone, and your foot size.
You were raised in an environment that influenced who you became.
You endured hardships that shaped your future.
You made decisions about the person you wanted to be.
You wake up every day taking in the world through your own lens.
And while some of us find similarities in our experiences, we all come away with memories that are unique to us.
Why does this matter?
This matters because the world would not be the same with you. There is literally no one who can replace the beautifully complex combination of emotions, memories, and attributes that make you, you.
In moments of self-doubt, remember that the world could not possibly be the same without you in it. You bring a light to this world that no one else can recreate.
You are needed here.
